Machine boots to bios .cannot load rom image
Anyone know how to fix this issue, can’t seem to load past bios screen
Re: Machine boots to bios .cannot load rom image
I have my my hardware guy working on this. I've asked him to reply by Monday.
I can tell you we think this is a hardware failure--my guess is the eMMC. But we'll post again once we know more.
Sorry for the delay.

Re: Machine boots to bios .cannot load rom image
Looking forward to the answer and resolution.

Spoke to our tech team today, the problem appears to either be the BOIS or eMMC.
If it's the BIOS, try resetting it, by using the left arrow key and going to, "SAVE & EXIT" along the top menu.
Move with the down arrow key to "Restore Defaults". The system will ask you to confirm, select. Yes".
If the system doesn't reboot, select "Save Changes and Exit".
If this gets you past the BIOS screen, then the eMMC is probably good. If not, then it may have gone bad. If so, you'd probably need to replace it with an msata/sata drive. However, this can be a fairly complicated task, as some drives may not support booting from this BIOS.
