I did a quick look and found these. They look like they use the 2.4 Ghz band. They should be compatible using a little included dongle.

If you already have one it should work fine. If you have not bought one yet they seem to cost about 20 dollars. I would personally spend just a few dollars more and pick up this. It's a Logitech K400 Plus. While it also uses a dongle it is a little bigger then the Rii and decently built.

sorry im late to respond, but yes they work perfect. Had one hooked to mine since day 1. Its my go to mouse/keybd for any devices such as the dreamcade. No issues at all.

if memory serves its the i8 or i8+ the model has removable battery/backlit/2.4ghz dongle. if you look around besides amazon, fleabay has em for about half price

I just got the Rii i8+ BT....love it! Made the mistake of showing it to my wife and she promptly confiscated it and proceeded to use it and my replay to shop online...

Got the Rii X8 and it works great for the quick login and cursor control
