Getting some theme ideas going

If you have any suggestions for themes on the Replay, then post them here for everyone to check out. If we like them, then we will include them at launch.

My biggest concern is not having a theme that eats up the resources. One of my biggest problems with Hyperspin and Bigbox is yeah they look cool, but they are so slow loading and can ruin the performance of the game if you are not using a good computer. The biggest selling point for me on this system is the speed and ease of moving from one game to another and from one system to another. When I watched that in the vicdeos, I was sold. I want something that my wife can easily find the games she wants to play and switch easily. That is far more important to me than if it has a Pacman or Mario theme.
Our menu goes idle when a game is played so themes won't be an issue. Load times will be fast and we are optimizing it to make it faster.

Showcase is clean. A lot of great themes made for emulation station! The Snes Classic theme is also a good one.

Will there be a way to make our own themes on the dreamcade?

Yes, you will be able to use a tool or even manually edit the XML files to create your very own custom theme.
I can post more details about this at a later date.
It's dangerous to go alone! Take this. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BuFVQ7HCQAAbgpz.jpg

Having some Phil Doodles themes would be nice or see if he can whip a custom one just for the Replay would be awesome!

While I prefer Big Box and Hyperspin with video snaps and everything I would say my third favorite setup is the Nintendo classic and its ease of use and layout.
